Quick 8800GTX Question

You could get a PCI-E SATA controller card.
It will cost about £100 but your SATA sockets will be easy to use.
It will give you 4xSATA ports on the card so you just have your DVD on the motherboard and the HDD's on the card.

Yea looked into that last nite, but before i wanna splash out that much going to look into sata ports with a hinge :p

If you find any good one's, let me know as I'm going to have the same problem in a few weeks when I add some more drives.

Was just going to get a controller but if there are some hinged SATA plugs then that's a great option.
 
Sorry, didn't have time last night.

Too busy watching the armed response unit trying to get someone out of the house over the road. There were 6 armed police and about 20 uniforms. Mental stuff.
Took them nearly 2 hours to persuade him to come out.

I live in a really quiet road so it was really surprising to see all that going on.

I'll get that score tonight after work.
 
You'll probably loose all your data as the RAID configuration will be different.

What RAID setup do you have at the moment?
Is it RAID or JBOD?

Can i not just use the dvd drive and extra HDD on the Sata controller as just single drives? umm im not sure what JBOD means :/ but im fairly sure its set to RAID in bios and all worked fine before with the raid and other two sata devices plugged in.
 
Just a Bunch Of Drives

Does windows see alll the drives seperatly ie. C:, D:, E: or does it see all the drives as only one drive?
 
I really don't know why asus made the board the way they did.
PATA at the bottom, miles away from the 5.25" bays and SATA right under the GFX card.

I really regret buying this board although it does OC nicely.

Same here now the placement is ridiculous, it has nothing new no other board has but yet places everything so damn close, but as you said does clock nicely :p
 
Winngames, How much difference does your PhysX card make?

I've been toying with the idea of getting one for a while but don't want to waste money if it's not worth it.

Seen a few reviews, some good and some bad.

Sorry, still not had time to get score yet.
The only computer time I seem to get is at work at the moment. (Not that it's a bad thing. better than actually working) ;)

That's a very good score. You running XP or Vista?

Most I've managed to squeeze so far is appx. 14,600 from a similar spec.
