Quick continuous play question

My PS3 broke (laser problem) anyhoo it was picked up 2 days ago and I got a brand new replacement

Is this mine now or will my old one be fixed and sent back? It was never clear

I would think it's yours.

I don't think repair companies to courtesy consoles.

It's yours, Sony will repair your old console, wipe everything and send it to someone else when their console breaks.

Sweet I only got it a few months back on ebay and it stunk of fags. A nice new clean one suits me

A new one............. Does this mean I'd get one of the newer naffer looking PS3s if my 60gb dies? O.O

Not at the moment no, as it stands they replace like for like, you will get a refurbished 60gb. They give it a thorough clean on the inside and completely replace the outer shell so they look new.
