Hey all,
I have a question on some quick disconnects I have in my loop, they are Phobya quick releases, G14 bulkheads.
So, all appears well until the machine is moved, nudged or otherwise disturbed, at which point they leak, sometimes a little, sometimes quite a lot, and it takes them a good long time to get back to a stable state.
Is this normal? is it down to like an internal pressure thing in the loop?
The build is quite new so I am still getting the odd bubble, I just checked now and there was one I could shift back to the res with a tilt, so I tilt the case slightly and I could hear a little drip forming on the disconnect, like a slight sucking noise.
Is this just par for the course with these type of component or would I be better advised to replace these couplers with a different brand / product / idea etc.
This is a hard line build in 16/12 Acrylic and on the outside of the case (where the quick disconnects are) I switch to softline tubing to go out through my wall to the heat exchanger.
Any suggestions?
