QUick format vs Full format

About to finish my main rig and build a new one, got a new Iomega 500Gb external hard drive and want to format it to NTFS. 500Gbs will take ages, what are peoples views on quick formats? Quick answer great appreciated :)
 
Can't remember the last time I did a full format, never had any problems with drives which have been quick formatted.

In normal circumstances I think the "quick" option is quite adequate, neither have I had any problems arising from using it either. :)
 
Sweet, done a quick. Now i got to backup, wipe my computer and build another one :( ........cant be arsed!
