Quick iPod Question - Adding Songs From Multiple PCs

Hey, got a iPod from a mate which she let me borrow.
Is it possible to add additional songs on my PC onto her iPod (with or without iTunes, or whatever program is necessary) even though its usually used on her PC with her iTunes?

I think when you want to add more songs on, it formats the drive then puts the new ones on :eek:

Thats what I feared!
Was hoping some of the iPod buffs would know a decent workaround

You could use winamp with mlpod to download her music library onto your hard disk. Also if you select "manually manage this ipod" in itunes it wont auto-sync and you will be able to drag and drop files directly onto it. This is true even if you use it on multiple machines

just go into itunes and de-select, the automatic update option and change it to manually update songs and play lists

oh and press "no" when you plug it in as it will wipe the ipod

that should have you sorted
