Quick nood Q, is an X1900 just an overclocked X1800 or is there more pipelines etc.?

resolution = 1680 x 1050, default settings from setup tool (Ultra High), probably around 30 fps, perfectly playable, looks stunning too.

Same here with my X1900, it drops to 23ps in the most intense situations mainly due to the AI (does the same without HDR and at lower AA so its obviously not a GPU limitation) but in a game like oblvion that really doesn't matter. I average well over 30fps.

My CPU also lets me down, being a cruddy Venice @ 2.7ghz. With an Opteron at 3ghz i'd likely be over or close to 30fps minimum fps.

My friend has a heavily OC'd 7900GT running at 575/1800 and his performance is worse than mine outdoors and that's with only 2xAA and no HDR.
