I'm about to throw a wd1500adfd and a wd1500ahfd into my system on a raid 0.

There both 150GB but not sure if they will raid correctly being slightly different models, just wondered if anyone knows if this combination will work okay ?

cheers

The two drives are basically identical except for the window on the AHFD one so there shouldn't be an issue running them together.

Thanks :)

Now all I need to do is figure how I create a raid 0 partision on these 680i boards, I went into the bios and enabled the raid controller but don't see an option on creating the partision.

I've got my drives in sata ports 3 & 4

In the raid options I have all enabled because I wasn't sure which sata port they map to shown as primary and secondary i.e

sata0 prim
sata 0 sec
sata 1 prim
sata 1 sec
sata 2 prim
sata 2 sec

I'm guessing its sata 1 prim and sata 2 sec, but have enabled all just to make sure. I don't see anything on the startup that allows you to create the partision, any ideas?
