QUICK QUESTION!

Okay so I've taken the front of the case off in order to fit the disc drive but then what slot do I take off on the case to slot it in?

Also when does hard drive go?

Stick the DVD drive into any 5.25" bay, probably the very top one looks neatest.

Put the harddrive in a internal 3.5" bay that doesnt have a removable fascia.

Okay, so I settled for screwing the drive in which fits perfectley *phew*

Just the harddrive to fit now bit lost with which way it goes it ETC.

Then it's onto plugging in cables then nearly done :P?..

Okay the hard drive is now in!

All there is to do now is put the back plate on which I do not know which one.

But cables i am completley lost heres a few pics of the build so far, sorry if there poor.

Attach a SATA cable from each drive to SATA ports on the board.

Connect the front panel (PWR SW/RESET SW/PWR LED etc) to the motherboard.

Connect the USB from the front to the motherboard.

Connect the HD Audio to the motherbaord, leave the AC'97 hanging.

Connect the 24pin and 6pin ATX to the board from the PSU.

Give both drives a power connector.

I'll be honest this is the bit I dreaded the most those the pins are so delicate I don't wanna break em! Might have to call a profeasional in would hate to muck up now after doing everthing else fine up to this point.

Ahh stulid means nothing to me. Also with the motherboard came a little bag with little connectors saying stuff like usb etc..

ahhh so stressed!

Spread them out and get a picture up, a good picture.

Okay so the HD Audio Cable is plugged in as well as USB 1.

I am now left with the following;

4 Sata Connections

PCI-E 6 PIN CABLE

4 white 4 pin connectors

and a 4 pin connections square shape cable but i believe thats for the motherboard so i think thats a spare

and the cables in talking about that the came with the motherboard are

Ok, let's tackle this one by one.

4 Sata Connections - Have you plugged these in to the back of your Sata drives, such as the hard drive and optical drive?

PCI-E 6 PIN CABLE - These will plug in to your graphics card.

4 white 4 pin connectors - These are probably molex connectors, fans sometimes connect in to these.

and a 4 pin connections square shape cable but i believe thats for the motherboard so i think thats a spare - Look in the top left of your motherboard, is there a 4 pin socket? If there is, this connector will probably plug in to this.

PICTURES:
1st Picture - Is a molex - sata power converter, you will have to use this to power your sata drives if you don't have sata power connectors

2nd Picture - I believe they are for front panel connectors, such as power, reset etc.

3rd Picture - Isn't so clear, can't see the connectors.

4th Picture - It's a BIOS speaker, make sure you plug it in, it's good for error diagnostics.
