Okay, well im currently in installing windows 7 64 bit. I didnt have to do anything with the bios so thats ok. Or is it I need go into the bios after and play around with it or shall i just leave it.
And bloddy hell the machine is quite LOUD LOL! the fan is causing most of that sound supposed it'll quiet down (hopefully) once it settles downand has installed everything!
Nice to hearWhen Windows is installed, check to make sure every thing is stable, get a program such as RealTemp or Speedfan to check that the CPU temperatures aren't too high as well. If everything is stable, I can't see any reason for you to go in the BIOS. If of course you ever want to overclock your CPU, then you should go in to the BIOS and do it there.
As for the noise, the disk drive is probably causing quite a bit of noise, well mine does anyway
P.S Don't forget to check that Windows has fully detected your 4GB of RAM.
To do this, go to:
Start --> Right click my computer --> Click properties, and look for where it says 'Installed RAM'
Do you have your fans plugged into your PSU or motherboard?
If you plug them into SYS_FAN sockets on the motherboard, the speeds will vary according to load. If they're plugged into the PSU, they'll run at maximum speed.
You could also get a fan controller if you wanted, so you have ultimate control over how fast they are spinning (and therefore how loud they are)
