QUICK QUESTION!

Okay, so I have installed the AMD CPU in I have lined up the heatsink fan and there is a blue lever which what it says in the manual in pull it across. However when I attempt to do this there seems like theres a lot of tension and as its only a plastic lever I DO NOT WANT TO BREAK IT !!

Please help!

Stick them in the same colour slots.

It is this board? - MSI A75MA-G55

Yeah, what do you mean on the ram there is a small blue box?

Install ram into the furthest slot away from the CPU first (DIMM4), then the other stick in the second slot (DIMM2)

Just make sure you've put the stand-offs in the right place... you are using stand-offs aren't you?

Is the I/O shield plate in correctly? fitted from the inside and the right way up?

yeah all the writing is the correct way up.

Then just palce the board in.

Make sure the metal tabs on the IO shield plate are on top of the silver boxes of the motherboard rear, and apply a little pressure with one hand to the edge of the motherboard closest to the drive bays and get a screw in a hole.

Aren't the blue slots Dimm1 and 3, first set of dual channel memory should go in Dimm4 and 2 which from the picture on the web site are black.

We are looking at a A75MA-G55?
