Not really, I can admit I am wrong, with a 32" set your eyes can't see the difference between 720p and 1080p unless you sit 3 inches from the screen, that's why 1080p sets started from 40" and bigger in the past.


Anyway, you can never have enough GPU power but the difference between a X1950XTX and a HD2900XT might be smaller than you like in some games, I would suggest reading a lot of reviews that compare both cards.
