quick resolution question (360)

am i right in thinking that it doesn't matter what vga resolution i use, the game performance will be in the same?

i have a new screen and it's optimum resolution is 1440x900, but the closest i can get to that on the xbox (ratio wise) is 1280x768 so i'm using that at the moment.

It shouldn't do, all the 1280x(xxxx) resolutions will be some sort of scaled 720p, so you should be okay.

maybe i should run it in 1280x720?

i mean they all look pretty much the same. PGR3 looks a little squashed on all of them, sadly.

Unfortunately the VGA cable is a bit crappy for some games and resolutions, apparently 1024x768 is okay for PGR, but probably not on a widescreen monitor.

I think the 1280x768 would be the best option for your monitor, as it's a 16:10 monitor you have, and 1280x720 is 16:9.
