QUICK usb 2 memory stick?

I'm after a 16gb usb 2 memory stick.
are they all the same speed ( very slow) or are
some quicker than others?

I got a 8GB Lexar JumpDrive S23 for under £10. It feels flimsy, but it is fast even on USB 2.0 ports.

I only bought it for a Windows 7 installation, but it's certainly won me over - especially at the price!

I've noticed that 8gig sticks do run quickly.
It's anything above like 16gig they seem to slow for some reason.
