QUICK usb 2 memory stick?

I'm after a 16gb usb 2 memory stick.
are they all the same speed ( very slow) or are
some quicker than others?

I got a 8GB Lexar JumpDrive S23 for under £10. It feels flimsy, but it is fast even on USB 2.0 ports.

I only bought it for a Windows 7 installation, but it's certainly won me over - especially at the price!

I've noticed that 8gig sticks do run quickly.
It's anything above like 16gig they seem to slow for some reason.

I just received a sandisk extreme 64gb(they also do a 16gb which should be faster) its usb3(rapid!!) but heres the usb 2 speed;

(this is my own test so no one paid me to inflate numbers )

Damn near light speed compared to almost all usb2 I've used. In comparison last one was a pny attache 32gb that wrote at 400kbps

Its only showing 58gb due to some encrypted files. After format its at 63.8gb

If you're after very fast speeds you need to look for SLC flash memory. Although be prepared to pay the extra costs.
