Quid Co - Explain

It's great, if I was signing up now though I would use top cash though. But pointless spreading it over to accounts IMO. So sticking with quidco. It's money for nothing so doesn't matter how long it takes.

these type of sites are lead generation websites. They get paid in different ways, for you clicking through, signing up or purchasing

They work through affiliate networks like Affiliate Window - who have a bank of merchants that give cash back on purchases (CPA). They pass this cash back on to the end customer and thus generate sales.

They make their money by charging for advertising space on the site.

Normally these networks (affiliate window) pay out on sales to publishers eg a review site with a link to a product on say Curry's would get paid of some one bought something from currys after click the link for up to 30 days.

Just signed up to TopCashBack.
Lets see how much i use them. :p

Its the insurance stuff that interests me, quite a bit of cashback on average it seems. :D

Yip I just started up with topcash. My aunt told me about them. I really only use it with the bay purchases though. But if you where a regular user of the bay then the savings would mount up nicely seemingly she had built up a pretty penny over christmas. I just had a look in my acoount..£1.40=WINNING!!!

+1 It does slowly add up

Been using Topcashback (TCB) a while and not really had a problems with it and I found it does better rates then QuidCo

Also you can do a Highest Cashback Guarantee on TCB just submit a claim against a higher rate of cashback from a different Site i.e. QuidCo send some proof of it, a URL will be enough and TCB do match it

Also if your transactions don’t track you can just submit a claim and does get sorted quite quick

Also worth checking out the TCB forum for special deals which gets posted once in a while ill use an example for one which expired a while ago

Hot Fuzz - DVD - HMV Price = £2.90
Normal Cashback Rate = 6.06% = £0.18
Bonus Forum Cashback Offered = £1.72
Overall Cost - £2.90 - £0.18 - £1.72 = £1

Some of the deals may not be to everyone taste but some are good and some are bad and to be honest where can you buy a DVD for a £1 these days?

afaik quidco/topcashback pay you all the comission, sometimes even more if you're a regular user getting 110% back. they make money from advertising as well as i'd imagine they'd have deals with some companies that they also get an additional referal bonus for refering so many people.

I signed up to Quidco first before I found out about Topcashback. I never used Quidco in the end as I would lose £5 out of cashback earnings. Now using Topcashback and although it does take a while to get money, its worth doing. I look at it as money for nothing as you are getting money back for stuff you would buy anyway. Been using it for a year and in that time I have managed to get back something like £60* just from dvd purchases, phone contract, clothes etc.

*That figure would be much more if OCUK and similar retailers were on Quidco/Tcb!!

I had aa membership this year for myself and wife and got 20 back on each with quidco. got 5 from carphonewarehouse even after returning the phone. just ordered sky broadband and got 50 to come back through top cashback. cant complain. no downside just assume it may not get paid so dont base purchases on it.

Loving Quidco. Had it for 2 years and just shy of £300 cashback which considering I rarely buy stuff online is pretty amazing.

You can get the big bucks through internet/gas/electricity deals, I think £150 of the £300 was through signing up to virgin media broadband for our uni flat.
