Hurrah.

Gyms a bit more expensive than WoW though :D

aye thats true!

I cant say much negative about wow in a technical sense, its a well made game and i put more hours into it than any other.. however i just think people get too far attached to it. If you think for a minute your addicted then i recommend you pull out and cancel ya sub. sell it.. and buy something nice :)

I think your thread will trigger a mass real life lemmings suicide.

Glad I don't play this, bloody kids games ;) :D

Remember kids "You can't make love with WoW only in WoW" so bail out and get some loving.

Although I quit WoW last year, I still find myself checking nearly every WoW thread on here :P

A sign to any newbie just starting to give it up now! :D

After playing for 1.5years i decided to quit. Went back to occasional CS games, and less PC time.

Get yourselves away from the life draining game. When it all comes to an end you will realise, like i have now.. That you spend weeks playing for an item, to wear on an imaginary character.. Its actually quite sad when ya think about it.

But isn't that the same with all games? You don't actually get anything from them in the end do you? Oh yeah, just the enjoyment of playing a game with friends or the satisfaction of completing a game.

I mean, I was reading a book the other day and all the characters were imaginary too, what a waste of time.

To be honest if you found the game life draining then you're def doing the right thing by quitting. The thing I object to though is the inference that WoW is the only game that can have this effect, from what i've read on here EvE is a similar time sink but isn't a popular target like WoW is.

Yes I do play WoW and no I don't think it's life draining, if that makes you think you have enough information about me to make a judgement about me being in "denial about addiction" then go right ahead.

Join a gym guys, get out the house more. But whatever you do, Dont let it drain ya life! :D

Just a bit of friendly advice :)

I used to think the same thing when I used to play CS

Why oh why was I wasting minutes of my life sitting in a server, waiting for people to kill each other. I needed to do something with my life!

Gym's are too expnsive to join, so I took the next best option, "Wombat Wrestling".

It's great, keeps you fit and since wombats aren't native to the UK, your providing a much needed service for the community and the environment.

I'd be out there grappling with those dastardly mammals right now if I wasn't recovering from my match with "The Tunneler" last week.
He managed to slip out off my head lock and suplex me, messing up my back.

Id rather be addicted to a computer game than say food like some people :D

I've still got withdrawl symptoms from quitting Ultima Online 5 years ago

Social interaction is a necessary part of the human psyche.. its ok if your too ugly to go out and need to play Warcraft.. just go back to it you pale zombies of the dank twilight.

The game is only as addictive as you let it be, if you let it take over your life then in my eyes it just shows a complete lack of willpower, it’s really quite sad that people let it consume them so much. And yes the game is repetitive but so is every other single game out there, pretty much everything is repetition.

I read this in the wow forums the other day and I just made me laugh at how stupid some people can be.

Hehe well to be honest I quited school and lost a boy friend but it was worth it :P
Cryied of hapiness when I bought the weapons with my pvp team with me. It was one of the best memories ever :)

" Realasionships comes and goes but Grand Marshal weapons is soulbound"

For those that don’t know this is what a girl did to make rank 14 on her character which from what I’ve read takes months of playing for around 10 hours a day. Just crazy.

I think she should go back to school.

I've been playing WoW since release on and off, and yes I have wasted silly amounts of time on this game, but now I am playing with my Mrs and her Sister and not taking it so seriously, casually leveling an undead priest on Al'Akir and enjoying so much more than my 60 Hunter, I just limit myself to an hour or two a night, that is more than enough.

Its all about self control.

I've just started playing. No way would it take over my life tho. I've managed a Football Manager addiction very well and I can do the same for this :)

Reminds me of those drug adverts from the 80's.
