Seems to be a sensible formula from the iterations I've tried.
I'd keep away from fruit juices too really
There is a big difference between sucrose and fructose. Of course, always check the label because most supermarket juices are indeed added (cane) sugar. Freshly squeezed no additives, rock on.
Agreed there is a difference (it's subtle, but significant) - ideally you want the fibrous material that comes with fresh fruits as well.
That's quite a lot, spend a lot of time going to the loo ?
I'm afraid you've been misinformed![]()
Don't worry it's a common misconception.
Ideally you should eat your fruit rather than juicing it.
Please do inform me on your Advance physiology... As I'm sure you have studied it at a higher level than anyone on the forum.
and frankly its daft to consider food as part of your hydration.
I'd disagree with this personally. There are far too many exceptions to that to class it as "daft".
I mean in that you should be concentrating on drinking fluids over relying on getting hydration from food. It's easier to drink some water/drink than it is to stuff a whole lettuce down you![]()
It is but it is also safer in large parts of the world to get hydration from fruits over local water supplies and we are also all started off getting our hydration from food and not water! Therefore, I felt it was maybe harsh to say it's daft. We don't often think how lucky we are all now to actually have clean water that wasn't always the case hence why traditionally people tended to not drink water.
I thought we were talking about the UK?
