I am guessing that those temps are not correct unless you are using some amazing cooling or have your PC set-up in a freezing cold room!Thorne said:I am running mine at 3.6 using x11 Multiplier, Normal temp of 25c and a fully loaded temp of 40c

I would say that the temps are out by a few degrees, that seems crazily low for a quad core, is everything setup to read the temp's correct for the G0 stepping cpu's?
V|per said:It's been rumoured that the G0's are a good 10-15°c out, some motherboards have had bios updates so that they read the temperature correctly, some programs, such as speedfan, need setting up so that the temeratures are read correctly (they use an offset from the normal..)
I think the only way you can be sure of the temps is to get a probe.. and even then, you cant just chuck it into one of the cores...
What does your bios say the cpu temp is (this would obviously be idle..) if it was, say, 10°c higher than the idle temp in windows, i would add on 10°c to the windows temp... again, this still isn't the most accurate way, but it might give you more realistic temps.
Of course, they could just be reading correctly...![]()

also.... PhysX.. urgh (couldn't resist sorry!)
