Very sad news when somebody looses their battle with cancer. He was a brilliant actor and Spartacus is one of my favorite shows :-(

RIP Andy Whitfield, genuinely Gutted. he definitely died before his prime. Blood and Sands was a masterpiece and the whole series was set to be fantastic, such a shame it'll have to carry on without him.

Actors aren't exactly fit, they go to extreme measures to fit roles, rather tough demands on the human body.

Me and my OH love this programme and I had no idea his lymphoma was this bad. He got better, then relapsed, but I had no idea it was going to end his life so quickly, I thought he was still fighting it and assumed he was getting better again.

Really feel for his family at this awful time.

Liam McIntyre had some big shoes to fill anyway, but even more so now.
