Still a great song today, for sure a classic that will be remembered for a long time and redone many different ways. The beat was great to it, he could have sang anything to it and would have been a hit, but the lyrics really made it memorable and a classic to go with a iconic movie too.
Coming from a person that is not really a fan of rap music but like with every genre of music there is that magical gem and this to me was one of them for the rap genre.
It was never my genre but a lot of these artists produced some really good Rap, RnB stuff I normally would never have looked into. But there was a distinct sound from some of them. Or the fact that sound was during the same time as 90s summers.
Then of course there is the tie and relation of music that was produced for some films that seems to pull you in even more.
