R50

Interesting, I don't remember him even mentioning that.
What I remember was him commenting on a regular run that had to do on a weekly basis taking in a variety of roads, and suggesting that the Toureg was a better allrounder for his preferences.
Maybe VAG do know better than OcUK. ;)

Of course, nobody is allowed an opinion on the validity of choices made by a company unless they are on the board

VAG know best, thats why the Pheaton was a roaring sales success and why you trip over Golf Plus every time you walk outside.

It's also why very recently the company was in financial turmoil - becuase they know best!

Tell them, not me. I don't make the cars.

Yea, I'm actually stood outside Ed's house - I've wired his car up with C4, and if he doesn't agree with me I'll force him to by threatening to blow his car up.

So yea, you are totally correct.

pretty **** looking with the classic tacky bling R-range front grille, diesel so you wouldn't even want to dump the engine in to something worthwhile...but I'll reserve my judgement until it has been tested offroad and the results published as it is a 4x4 afterall.

Doesn't spie have a toe-rag V10? I've heard those things are damn good at just being CARS. Comfortable, fast, spacious

well apparently its the fastest production SUV in the world...until the Q7 V12 comes out, which is meant to be faster. Although if I was looking at an SUV I'd be wanting something that actually works offroad, which isn't the case with most brands and is yet to be proven with these. I can't imagine lowering it 20mm over a standard toureg has offroad advantages

yea just did some reading, apparently the jeep SRT-8 ****** all over them all in terms of acceleration, whereas the cayenne turbo s has the top speed crown
