R9 Nano 4GB HBM Memory for 1440p

I hope it does greg. My pascal fund is full and burning a whole in my pocket as we speak :(

Haha, I can understand that. I see lots of silly arguments and been personally invloved in a couple but most of it is 'us' wanting to see what is what. 28nm has been around far too long and I have had most of the 28nm high end cards :D

If you're looking to not drop under 60 fps in current games @ultra then you can keep dreaming about it, as that will never happen. Game optimization is a bitch, and will likely never improve due to economic factors. Gsync/Freesync gets you a nice safety net for fps drops though, but the Iiyama you selected has a high freesync range floor (40hz iirc), thus won't help a ton either. The Nano will not handle 1440p the way you want it to, nor will a 980ti for that matter, again, in most cases where this happens it's due to the game itself not necessarily the hardware, but it happens nonetheless.

So what's the solution? The solution is either to throw a lot of money at the problem so that the occurrences are minimized (I'm talking SLI/CF setups & 800 pounds monitors), or forget about it and enjoy it as it is (& stay 1080p).
