i guess the people who mess around arnt the people who are going to buy it
still going to buy this tho ill be happy with the single player if the online turns out to be a mess
havent had a decent racing game for a while now

I lost my entire weekend to the Multiplayer on the demo. Its great fun and I can actually win! I have pre-ordered this for £20. Cant wait!
Lol, this is true. I love racing sims, but I am just having a blast playing something more forgiving. It's just plain fun.
This is the game where I am even tolerating (and in some cases enjoying!) the presence of idiots! I find immense pleasure in being able to navigate a smokey graveyard of cars at full speed.
It's great that most people don't know not to fully rev your car on the starting line, feels great just tanning it past 3 or 4 cars straight off the line. If you start off in last, it's pretty important not to try and find 1st straight away. If you take that first corner a little slower and as close to the inside as possible, pressing look back to check out the steaming scrap yard as you floor it is emense.
Did the same & noticed no change.Well i modified all the BloomAmount values to 0.500000 but i am not sure it reduced it. Maybe i would need to alter contrast and lum settings also but cant be bothered to.
That would be the C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Codemasters\GRID Demo\hardwaresettings trick ?
The cars look great like that but everything else look flat & bland.

Open with notepad
Find <postprocess enabled="true" blur="true"
Change to <postprocess enabled="false" blur="true"
Save
You will lose motion blur & depth of field as well tho.
What's the benefit though?
I think he got the dodge working actually. Shame he's not saying how.

locate :> Program files\Codemasters\GRID demo\cars\gtr and back the 'gtr' file up then just place the new file in the cars folder
you can even put 20 drift cars on the track and race

it was quite straight forward, ingame create nickname and password and off you go ...
Is the full game out yet?
I am running on the demo and it never seems to save my custom control config :\. Seems to perform ok, 8xaa, 1680x1050, shame there is no other settings, gets laggy in smoke though, so I will stick to 2-4xaa.
