Race Driver: Grid

Excellent, hopefully something very similar will be implemented into GRID. As you can tell I'm well up for this game. Its the light at the end of my A level exams tunnel :)

I hope so cos that'll get rid of the muppets.

While I agree with that, I feel you are always going to get large crashes in the american series bit. We are talking about 12 very large powerful american muscle cars going around at the best of times small street circuits with difficult chicanes.

Just as long as no one recomends flashbacks online, cause that would be hell...

Couple of questions:

1) I use xbox controller and cannot for the life of me find handbrake, where is it?

2) Does anyone know how to set up a G25 to play this game well?

Thanks :D

1) could 'B' the button, check in the controller setup ingame

2) when i first used the G25 i found it quite difficult and messed around with saturation leves for hrs. However after speaking to fellow wheel owners that said dont change anything and it will be fine, i did just. Plug in your G25 and just play

Online issues, i dont mind other drivers mistakes but i wont accept idiots who drive backwards or join a server just to ruin mine and others enjoyment. One good bit of news is that Codies have implemented a Demolition Derby mode which should satisfy wannabe car cushers everywhere !

I'm finding it horrible on defaults. No FFB and a huge dead zone.

Great to see that most of you are really enjoying the demo :)

Feedback is being passed to the dev team and it is very important to us when planning future updates etc.

Took a few hours of play to get into, but loving it now:D

Really needs a friends list, and easy match making. Many games make it a chore to find/race with friends.

Just had three great races, really close and clean, with just the occasional tap (cant be helped at times:)). Came top over the three races (woot), with two seconds and a third.

Got ruined though when some kids joined that just wanted to ram pepole off:mad:

The pop-up has carried over from the condole versions.
Any chance of a setting on the PC version to reduce that ;)

Yep i did see it :D.

I cant remember feeling so eager for a game to be released.
That don't mean that i have not felt it before its just that its been so long.

I feel you brother! Pc game releases are few and far between, even rarer is a quality game such as Grid has proved in the demo.

(Sorry, I have been watching The Wire too much)

You mean command prompt? Create a copy, rename the extension to .rar and try to open it then.

Mine downloaded without an extension, creating a .exe opened command prompt for a second but .rar had all the files. Just make copies.

Thanks man, but it was an antivirus compatibility problem with the game itself, got it fixed. Thanks for the help though.
