Race Driver: Grid

I'll be up for that too and I'll pick up a 360 pad in the morning as analogue acc/brk is a must in this!

Thats bad... If pirated versions work online then its highly likely that public servers will be full of morons, as they have no fear of getting there CDkeys banned. :(

Lets hope there are enough OcUK members to hold decent closed room races. :)

How would it be full of morons? The game has no cd key from what people have been saying. And it seems like you cant just select a server full of people you want to play.

That is a joke, the no CD key. Why should I be paying for this if the are rewarding pirates !

what?

Pirates would have had a keygen available before the game was available to buy. It wouldn't have stopped the pirates in the slightest, and now the real customers don't have to jump through hoops to play the game they purchased.

GJ Codemasters, a step in the right direction that I hope other publishers take :)

Good point, I couldn't play CoD online because some thieving toe-rag get kept stealing my key whenever I tried to sign onto online  :(

see nothing wrong with not putting a cd key in. Like others have said, serials are usually one of the easiest things for hackers to get round and would have been just another hoop for legit buyers to jump through.

No matter what security the programmers put on, someone always finds a way round so they should concentrate on making the games as enjoyable as possible. I for one played the demo of this and decided to buy it even though it would have been easily obtainable elsewhere for free.
Quite a few titles have still sold very well despite little or no copy protection. Going to the extremes that Bioshock and Mass Effect have attempted have done little but annoy the hell out of genuine customers.

Generated keys may let you install the game but don't let you play online, normally.

UT 2004 keys have never been cracked for online play.

it's still not been confirmed (as far as I'm aware) that online is accessible to pirated versions. It was only mentioned a couple of pages back as a "reports of" comment. I for one would be quite surprised if online was accessible whether or not the game requires a key. That is usually one of the down-sides one would normally expect downloading a pirated version.

Anyahoot, my first impresions are that this is a very good game. Really enjoying the levels of difficulty that are available, and have just started my own team (PJM Racing ***!!)

On a side note, has anyone tried racing that Pagani Zonda thing? Bloody nightmare when it comes to braking, its so friggin fast!!!

Can anyone confirm whether I can use my PS2 DualShock pad with this game?

I'm using Vista64, and it works for Trackmania..

Will probably fork out for a 360 pad, but I still love the old DualShock2's :)
