Wont run on a Q6600 if you leave at stock it wants high clock speed ive found out.

Well i cant seem to run the game at max on my system at 1680 X 1050 whould I be able to ?

Spec below and im at 3ghz now and still it goes down to what seems like 3 fps when i crash, is this due to my hardware or is it cos im on Vista 64? any ideas?

Hmm i started playing this game today and its BSOD'd me twice within 2 races.

Any ideas what's going on ?

must be as I am on xp 32bit 8800gt [email protected] and can max it fine and it's smooth as silk @1680-1050 that's everything at it's max in the game settings including 16xa

Same for me, I've lost two lot's of saves because they become corrupt.

I have a 8800gts 320mb and i read somewhere to try an older driver revision, which i have. I went back to 160.03 and so far no crashes after an hour, don't want to tempt fate though.

I run the demo with x1900xt cat 8.5, e2160 @ 3Ghz, 2Gb Ram 444 12 default speed for crucial pc6400 2.1v. 1680 x 1050. I have 8 x AF no AA since I only use AA if it is in in game options. No problems, seems fast enough, is there a code to type into the console to get fps showing without resorting to fraps?

Are you running vista 64 with service pack 1? Im running a q6600 at 3150 8800gtx at stock on vista 64. Menus run terrible but it seems to for everyone. The actual races are smooth as silk.

Disappointed with the demo. Menus are very jerky for me. In 3rd gear Momo Logitech accelerator won't work.
