It's supposed to be supported in the patch but mine still doesn't work properly.

They supported it to actually work the steering not sure on Menu's AFAIK, I could not play 1 lap before the patch.

You may have the fact the game sees it as a wheel, there is multiple threads on CM forums that will show you how to edit a .ini file to make it see the Pad instead of relying on the Auto setting.

EDIT : Just to say I have went and did what that Mod says and its TOSH, does nothing.

Best use the Logitech Profiler and assign the D-Pad as Menu controls, if they actually had the Game Menu state the name of our Hardware like all other games then we would know if it seen the Pad correctly instead of thinking its a
Wheel as the Mod claims.

Yeah, I've got it working in the menus with the profiler but it still does lock to lock all the time on the steering with the analogue stick. Was this fixed for you with the patch?

I think I'll stick to using my Saitek P2900. After programming the menu controls with their software it works flawlessly and I can really enjoy this game.
 
tried to install the patch and it caused the game to stop launching properly.

almost finished the game now anyways, will leave it for now
 
I have a black wireless one too, tis the business I say! I don't have the charge kit though as it seems the batteries last AGES on these things, on the stock Energisers that came with the controller and have been using it since GRID came out nd Vista says the batteries are still full!

AFAICS Yes its fixed, cant tell if it is 100% fixed but I can do a lap now :p.

The charge pack is supposed to last for 25 hours! So maybe AA's do the same nearly.

Chuffed with the price too. Went into to buy a brand new pad for £32.99. But the guy behind the counter said do you want a second hand one. I thought no not really it'll be all grimy. Then he said its returned un-opened. So I got it for £24.99 instead.

I got a new wireless one off the net 2 weeks ago, £19.99 , :) was blue though.
