Ah right, bit odd that, am sure the 3850 dont perform much lower than my card when overclocked and all tracks are smooth for me at 1680x1050 16xAA/16xAF![]()
maybe my cpu holds it back....i get with my crossfire setup 2x3850 only 9k... on 3d mark 06

I’m using my new 660GT wheel and pedals... is it just me or does it seem slower to accelerate than the 360 pad? I’ve got no dead zone on the pedals but it just seems to make the car slower.
Every time i try to run the game it crashes.
Highly likely due to my graphics card sucking so badly. n6600 128mb.![]()
Looking forward to this game coming out, could do with a good racer.

Does Force Feedback work for you?
I'm running Vista 32bit and have never got FF to work in any game with that wheel, although it works in windows ok
I'm torn between this game and GTR2, can anyone help me? Im new to PC racing and after the exams i'm buying myself a wheel and a game and i cant decide on the game. Something similar to gran turismo - these 2 seem the closest, but which one to get?!
GRID is more like gran turismo. GTR2 is a more of a proper sim.
So would i end up having more fun with grid? GTR2 seems to have gone out of stock where i wanted to buy it - GRID it will probably be then. Will my spec run it with reasonable FPS?
Hello mate, Yea it works fine make sure its turned on the the driver setup.
Grid is nothing remotely like Gran Turismo.
I would say they have their similarities. Both don't quite fall into the outright sim or arcade niche. Both have a large number of real-life cars and tracks. Perhaps the handling on Grid is slightly more arcade like but I don't think there's that much in it. Both appear to offer a career option of going up through the ranks getting better cars etc.
How are they not remotely similar?
