Any lower and it would be squishing her womb, which would be particularly uncomfortable during pregnancy (and medically inadvisable). So it's there or nowhere. She could probably use more boob support during pregnancy and a more supportive bra would probably be more uncomfortable during pregnancy and would probably not fit well for long as her body shape continued to change, so a moveable sash would probably be a good solution in that way too. Seems very practical clothing to me. But I still wouldn't care if it was "HEY! Look at my ****! They're great!" decorative clothing.
