I remember owning a racing game called Skidmarks on my Amiga 1200. This game was wicked.

Am i the only one that remembers it?
 
I remember that, was great, used to have an Amiga 1200 here to, cracking machines at the time, i even had the 68030 Accelerator. :D

Yeah it was like a cross between Championship Sprint, Super Off Road and Micro Machines. Awesome stuff. :)

I still have my 1200 not used it in ages, but when I was younger I loved the Amiga, seemed to spend most of my time on Monkey Island.
 
I had a game similar to that for the amiga, I cannot for the life of me remember its name because i'd love to play it again. It was basically a indy car version of super sprint. It had turbo's and everything. Loved it, never been able to find its name.
 
woah great pics and great response :D

i can still quite vividly remember the noises of the revving and screeching etc. i think there was a sequal too, ill google it when i get time.

this and micromachines were my first racing games
 
OMG you legend. I had completely forgotten about this. I was part of some sort of beta test for this, and got a demo which we had to give feedback on. Was loads better than the official release, but that was brilliant.

You do realise you may have just forced me into getting hold of an old Amiga :p

I used to spend hours racing mini's round the track in Super Skidmarks :D

I just loved that sort of game on the Amiga , Overdrive, Turbo Trax, Roadkill, ATR along with Skidmarks were all favourites.

also now that im thinking of Amiga games...

remember a game called Waggle-o-mania that was on a coverdisk of a magazine, all it was was 2 speed bars on screen and you just destroyed ya joystick by wiggling it side to side lol.

looking back there was a lot of original games on the amiga.

like Superfrog :D

My 500+ is sitting on a desk behind me :D

Skidmarks was my favourite game for yonks. The physics was spot on :)

I remember being astounded that the computer remembered where the skids were from previous laps :cool:
 
INDY HEAT, you guys are the nuts. Cheers now I just need to find the game and a way to run it. :) They sell amiga emulators now for the pc legit dont they?

Gotta play this again. I have looked for this game for years, one random post on here and I get the answer DOH!
