whatever it isTake it with a pinch of salt
If true I'm sold, that's a pretty hefty improvement, even keeping pace with the last gens dual chip cards.
imagine the dual core 7000 card
This 7970 is looking like the card to get early doors.
At least if this one picture is anything to go by.
I better start saving, got a feeling this ones gonna cost around £300 and thats around £150 over what i can afford.
Not far off the current monster dual cards, would love one of these.
If Nvidia don't have a reply until the summer as reported, expect it to be 5870 pricing all over again, £350/80+.
I would take the results with a bag of salt though, probably someones guesstimation!
Wish it was true but rather looks like someone has learn't how to use Excel!
Not saying it was you OP
It appears to be that time of year ago where some arse decides it's a good idea to make up a graph so that the GPU boizzz get stirred up over some hot air
(I'm not saying you're the arse op. Just that the graph looks fake from somewhere)
Why would you bench BC2 its 2 years old, i would have thought BF3 would have been tested instead, AVP? another old game really.
Most likely because it was done by some kid with more time than brains!
Just found these:
in an excel spread sheet I just made up. Looks promising. I also have it on my own authority that it will be £150 for the 7970.
Looks a bit sub par to be honest, I expected at least a 300% improvement over a 6990 for £150.
Count me out.
i want two!
