Radeon RX 480 "Polaris" Launched at $199

pedantic aren't you. 18.00pm if it's 10.00am LA time imo but some are saying 19.30pm based on the 1.30pm CT tweet.

You wrote 16:00 in your latest post!

Be gracious when you have been posting silliness :p

No one is being pedantic, we are just pointing out that in every post you have written the wrong time :)

Newer video from the chiphell guys with newer bios and driver on an 8GB model.

3.4k graphics score on firestrike ultra giving it fury nano performance.

91C!!! Ouch!!! It reminded me of my old EVGA GTX 470 SC, 91C-94C at all times during gaming was no fun, it was hellish experience with too hot and too noisy GPU dumped heat into my room temp soared to 35C everyday.

Surprised everything Kyle Bennett from HardOCP said was true that Polaris ran too hot and too noisy, AMD is screwed made bad decision to went with Global Foundries 14nm for GPU.

Without knowing what the fan speed is temps are completely irrelevant. For all we know it could be running at 90C and 0dB. Or it could be loud as f* and running at 60C. Pointless.

He's allegedly running it with a cooler that isn't designed for the card, so hold your horses.

Also the start temperature was 70C when the benchmark starts so almost definitely bad cooler placement if that was the idle temp.

Yup, if the cooler isn't designed for it, it probably isn't making proper contact with the chip.

The guy supposedly put a 290X cooler on the card to avoid NDA problems...if its not a fake ofc.
SO bringing all the doom talk is a bit too early.
