Radeon VII

Comical £699 for 2 year old performance on a new node while consuming more power I really don't know why anyone who hasn't already been enjoying this performance would jump on the bandwagon now at this price funny thing is it's not like AMD have the whole cheaper Freesync monitor argument anymore way to shake up the market AMD why would Nvidia drop prices?

Interesting third post in the last 12 years.....

Tell me, would you rather AMD gave up, offered nothing new and left the high end market exclusively to Nvidia?

I wish they would price more accurately and drag Nvidia prices down. Everyone has complained about how expensive the nvidia RTX cards are and then AMD bring out this at the same price and everyone is applauding AMD for competing. I just don't get it!? Am I missing something?

That is weird I've posted a lot more than 3 times admittedly it's been a while not much has changed I see :) care to add anything relevent or you just showing off your math skills?

Just interesting to see posters who don't post magically appearing when a product announcement is made with negative comments. Seems to be a very common occurrence as of late.

I can understand that but this is possibly the top end of 2 or 3 variants plus HBM is mega expensive currently. Neither company would ever sell a card at a loss so unfortunately that means expensive cards.

AMD competing is amazing. They are in line to be a similar price to the cheapest 2080 with hopefully marginally better performance and 3 free games. Overall I would say it has the potential to be a fair bit better of a deal.

Yea I'm all for AMD competing but I just wish the pricing was a bit more aggressive against nvidia. I know there is more margin in there...

Theres nothing magical about me appearing I'm simply stating my opinion based on information we have and here you are still yet to reply with any relevent response coming across all butt hurt focusing on my low number next to my name like I or anyone should care lol.

That's quite the sentence.

Keep going, you have almost doubled your post count :D.

Tbf I don't think post counts matter. You gotta start somewhere

They need to re-test it again in a few months though, after Nvidia gimping for the 10 series kicks in and AMD updates their drivers a bit.

Yeah the amd drivers that cause bsod when you boot certain games or cause performance drops when compared to the drivers before it or is that due to my system being ****

So would this mean we might see 3-4 vega products?

The shader count is below the 64 but above the 56, so we may see a 64 model, a 56 and maybe a 50 as well?

This would actually cover the entire stack thats missing from above Polaris to the RTX 2060.

We should - they should use this 331 sq.mm GPU to cover as many market levels as possible. It is not a large GPU.

This is quite the response on topic and completely relevent what a character to run into coming back I now remember why I stopped posting here lol. Looking at your posts you seem to defend AMD a lot so I'm kind of seeing the whole picture now bless you sorry if my opinion offended you.
