Metacritic only shows 2 critic reviews for that game, which isn't exactly encouraging.

Facts are also unclear, as the Darkfall website acknowledges that one account that was given to Eurogamer was used for 2 hours, while the writer of the review claims they played for 9 hours.

In any case, it seems like no one cares about the game.

And this occurred in 2009, so it's not all that "recently".
 
Now played around half hour and its ok. Nothing amazing but not rubbish either. Graphically its superb looking but when you move around quickly you can see the game drawing in the textures its not really bad but certainly noticeable, its like the engine is struggling to keep up with the movement, its nice and smooth and fluid though. I installed the disc to the HDD as well.
The save system is pants, I spent ages just driving around on the quad got killed and it loaded me back to the begining of the intro movie.. Grrrr.
It's seem's a good game but by no means the tech masterpiece it has been praised for being but then i'm only at the begining so it might open up a bit later on.

My Anarchy Edition has just turned up from GAME :) cant believe they stacked 3 discs on top of each other while the Americans get a nice multidisc case! very annoying
 
Will do some co-op over the weekend as I need to send this one back as I can only play half the game. Will pick up another copy locally tomorrow...
 
Ok 30 seconds in (lol) and the premise seems very promising (I know never judge a book by it's cover), look past the jaggies and graphically it's very good.
 
To me its a 10/10 graphics bolted onto a 6/10 game its ok just nothing amazing. The shooting dynamics are horrid the crosshair is all over the place for me. Killing enemies is hit and miss sometimes a headshot kills others it seems to have no effect. ?
