RAID-0 Setup

I have been trying to do a RAID-0 setup for the past couple of days. and have been unsuccessful in all my attempts. My problem is that i do not have a floppy drive and when i try to make the raid disc it does not recognise my USB pen device.

I have tried 2 other USB devices to make the RAID disc with but have been unsuccssfull. (formated the USB stick In FAT, FAT32, and NTFS but still nothing)

I read the manual and it says that i can make the disc on a USB drive for Vista installation.

I am trying to install vista 64.

If you can guide me to a solution I would apreciate it.
FYI my motherboard is a M3A32-MVP Deluxe WI/FI
and my two hard drives are Samsung SpinPoint F1 500GB

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

usually when you setup/create your raid is that you press "ctrl+i" on boot
and from there you can do whatever raid you want.
I suggest you dig through your mobo instruction booklet for this since I'm not enterily sure about ctrl+i could be different.
Doesn' hurt to try though.

After that just install Vista like you usually do since all vista disks have the included drivers for raids.

Thanks My Mobo is Ctrl + M

I got it all setup now.
I had the SATA cables in the wrong port (DUH)
There was a misprint on the instructions or on the MOBO.

In the instructions booklet it says connect to port 1 and 2 but i had to connect to port 5 and 6 to get it to work. (misprint? maybe!)

Sorry to bring up an old topic.
I also have this board and may RAID-0 in the future.
There are 4 Black SATA ports and 2 Red SATA ports. If memory serves, one does AMD-RAID and the other is Marvel?
If so which one should I use?

Also would it be possible to run 2 separate RAID-0 arrays on the AMD SouthBridge?
