ive currently got a western digital raptor 150gb

was wondering if i get another 150gb raptor but different model e.g. veloci!

can i still run 2 x 150 10,000 rpm drives in raid?

or do they need to be identical drives?

Yes it will work, but there's no point pairing a Raptor with a vRaptor as you will be throttling the faster vRaptor; on average the total latency will be the latency of the slower drive. Just get another 150gig raptor.
