I want to set up raid 0 with 2 Vraps wanna spend upto £100 on a raid card
(hope that's enough) and need help finding one cos i've no idea regarding make and ports.

No need to bother with a separate SATA RAID card for just running 2 (two) Velociraptors) in RAID0, the Intel ICH10R (on the Asus P6T) will be fine and will give you the same performance as any SATA RAID card, be they software implementations or (true) hardware cards...
