RAID Performace

Hey everyone,

I've had two Samsung 500gb F3s in RAID0 for a while now, and I have noticed increased amounts of 'pop-up' in some games, e.g Arma 2, oblivion, GTA4 in comparison to a single 1tb F3.

Is this possible with a RAID setup due to increased seek times? Have I setup my RAID incorrectly? Is the stripe size (128kb) set too high?

Need a benchmark run really, CrystalDiskMark is a good start, and an hdtune to show performance over the whole drive.

Stripe size is fine, higher than it needs to be but certainly not detrimental. Seek times should be almost the same as on a single drive.

A defrag wouldn't hurt either.
