i tryed setting up a 2 disk raid on my motherboard in sig not using it for a boot drive,as soon as raid is setup windows wont boot with my os drive saying disk is saying read error at boot screen as soon as i change the raid to the gigaraid controller all is fine,what i want is to use the intell raid and also have my boot drives on the intell controller.

You'll need to install the Intel RAID driver before you can use the Intel ports in RAID mode.
You need to move the OS drive onto the JMicron controller (make sure this is working before carrying on), change the BIOS to enable RAID on the Intel ports, boot the system and load the Intel RAID driver then create the RAID0 array on the Intel ports. Finally you can move the OS drive back to an Intel port if you want.
