RAID + storage drive

Hey guys, I've ordered two SATAII drives to have a play around with RAID, however I have an old SATA drive that I'm going to replace with my current SATAII...

So once I have the drives, it'll be 2 SATAII drives in RAID 0, I was wondering if I could use a third SATAII drive for storage, for my movies, music, work etc without it causing problems with RAID 0.

I've read a few sites but they only really cover running in RAID 0 and higher, without other drives that aren't running in RAID.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Only the drives you assign to the arrays will run as RAID drives, the others will just run in AHCI.

I have a RAID1 array for data and two separate drives, one for OS and another for media.
