RAID stripe size?

ello ello,

About to move my OS onto an SSD and have my often used games on there, I'm then goign to have a striped raid array made of 3x 320Gb Sammy F1 HDD's for my steam library.

Any sugestions on what the best stripe size would be for this use?

Off the top of my head I recall 64kB being a good stripe size. Also seems to be suggested in this thread here:

Such a size should work well for large continuous reads such as for game data files.

Lots of big files then a bigger stripe size, lots of little files then smaller the better.
If your not going to predomantly use either scenarios then stick to the default.
You wont see any massive differences in home use either way

Drives almost finished copying over temporarily so almost ready to whack them into a new array. Will go with 64k stripe as suggested

Gonna install win7 Ult to the SSD first get it all updated and then make an acronis image.
Then comes the Steam Library
