Hi iv just ordered another 64Gb falcon as the one was getting alittle full. I understand TRIM will not work at the moment but im sure it will in the near future.

What i really want to avoid though is having to do a new fresh install of win7. Iv never used raid before.

Is it possible to take or copy the win7 install onto my normal samsung hdd and then somehow load that onto the raid set up after iv set it up?

Thanks for any help!

Nope,

You need to set up a RAID array across both the disks first; doing this will wipe all of the data off both drives, then you can do the Windows install. You might be able to pull an install image across in one piece but you may need to drop in RAID drivers during the install process that wouldn't be used in a single disk install; it would be much safer just to perform the install straight onto the RAID array.
