As my Windows 7 release candidate is about to die it's time for my planned move to Solid State. My plan is to buy a pair of 120/128gig SSD's for a raid 0 install of Windows 7 and essential programs.

I noted from the sticky "Solid State Drives (SSD's) explained" thread that TRIM doesn't currently work with Raid0, is this still the case and if so should I then look to the Samsung drives?

TRIM still doesn't work in RAID0 atm, it's speculated that future versions of Intels chipset drivers will sort this, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

What you can do is get drives with idle time garbage collection, IIRC Indilinx drives support this with new firmwares, and the Samsung PB22-J drives support it too.
