Lots of rain. York was very wet about 15 mins ago.
Now the whole of downstairs has flooded pretty much after the ceiling caved in and dumped a load of water everywhere.

Anyone else having interesting weather today?

ah crap.... extensions just leaked extensively. :(
 
God yeah, for the first time ever I got up and it was raining, then it continued to rain when my taxi didn't arrive, it still was raining when I had to walk across the city, it was tipping it down when I was going to lunch, and treking back from town with heavy shopping bags got me ruddy wet.
 
Sky went orangey/yellow earlier and we had some weird rain.. i thought it was the end of the world ala Flash Gordon.

If your downstairs is wet, because the ceiling caved in and dumped water everywhere, then how is your upstairs not wet?
 
Edinburgh has been horrible all day :(. It was really warm right up to yesterday too. Just my luck :(.
 
Its pouring it down here and the sun is shining, just had some really loud thunder claps. I'll never be flooded though as im pretty high up :) .
 
The lights kept flickering and the pc's playing up (connectivity) here a while ago : o seems to have calmed down now, was pretty cool though :D
 
Had an awful lot of rain last night driving round the M25/M20. Almost like a tropical downpour. The the lightning struck and sacred the bejesus out of me! Looking grim again now.

Ah I'm at work. In a kinda 70 year old-factory. Suspended false(?) ceiling with nothing above it other than corrugated asbestos and poorly-sealed glass... Although it never leaked this bad before.

Its rained all day and the works car park was flooded, got wet feet and I was coming home from work and near town there drains couldnt handle the rain and the road was about 2 feet deep in some places.
 
The storm just hit leeds about 10 mins ago and it's like a hurricane, absolutely hammering it down! must be a couple of inches of water running down the street outside, just praying the lighting and thunder dont affect our systems.
 
Rumbling thunder here in Stockton. First few heavy spits of rain too, just as the kids get out from school.
