Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Me and my brother both previously played the PC version of Vegas a year back but since then his PC broke.

I decided to get the console version this time round (to be able to play with him) and being a nice sister used my store credit to pick him up a copy too.

Cut along story short he is hating it due to the controls being nothing like COD4 and he can only select a couple of layouts?

Is there any way to properly change the controls on consoles or is that it?
 
I played it for an hour loved it. Its good that R6 players get a bonus. The first level is pretty neat, went straight in on the toughest difficulty. :)

Not loving it so far, massive connection problems with MP coop, and it seems to be a worldwide issue :(

Sorry mate, I didnt miss it but it was 3am when I realised I had recieved it, so didnt respond, adn obviously forgot about it.
 
pick this up today, makes a good change from the run & gun cod4 i've been playing :)

i started out as a specialist with the 2500xp bonus and also have the hockey mask - maybe as i got to elite on the 1st one? nice surprise anyway :D
 
Only done the first level but so far I think they should have left the controls as they were and add run by using a COD system of pushing down on the analogue stick. The other controls worked really well in the last one and are a bit more unnatural in this one. Like back button to tag an enemy and start to bring up the map. Dont like using start much for Assault and Infiltrate. I prefered the D pad. Sure I will get used to it though.

Realistic is again quite tough on your own and all down to clever placement of the AI and making sure they do the bulk of the donkey work.

Still using the old faithfull MP5N with a rifle scope and the commando.
