RainX: Should be illegal NOT to!

Works well on a coupe with the more sloped windscreen :p though the wipers wipe it off in no time :/

good stuff but why? other drivers may not be able to see you in said bad weather? you can see excellently, so you decide to drive like a fool?

on a straight nearly empty motorway in broad day light with (quite bright xenon) headlights on? 85mph on a 4 lane motorway is hardly mach 10 is it now, I still had the odd tool or two fly past considerably quicker.

If you don't, it goes off and eventually smears like crazy reducing visibility to nil.

I think the stuff is dangerous on the windscreen TBH.

Odd how some people have no trouble, some have trouble. Are there different types of glass and different coatings being used by manufacturers maybe?

I tried it, didnt like it, when it rains more my wipers go faster anyway so wouldnt really make a difference to how much to use my wipers. I didnt like how it smeared anything. On the Polo it works really well, not on the passat though, dont know why.
