Actually gave up on this after Ep3, seems like gibberish moving in a circle.
Thinking about it I realised I don't like any of the characters. They could all be killed and they wouldn't be missed.
Your missing out, but I can see why you think its going around in circles as it rarely answers questions directly but with more questions, but none of the characters are likeable apart from mother when she goes weaponised
Absolutely, I think the writer did a comic explaining the initial war on earth or something like that. But I would really want to know how all this ends.
Had a huge discussion about the show with a friend and fellow viewer.
For all it's weirdness and "faults" we both decided it's still been one of the better Sci-Fi shows of recent. Neither of us still really get it and also have wildly different opinions on what is going on ... . It is a fascinating story, I'll have to look up that comic. I'd have loved a whole episode more devoted to earth not just flashbacks.
I guess my utter disappointment with starwars and then Picard and Discovery. It's been a tough time for sci-fi lovers. Things that were part of my youth being reworked and messed up too RoboCop, total recall spring to mind.
This, dune and the expanse rebirth have really been highlights.
I couldn't even write down my understanding of the show, I love comparing my ideas to orhers.
Indeed. Too invested in the show for it to end prematurely!
Marcus's weird resurrection, grandmother taking over plus all the "no idea what's going on" in the finale of the last season left me wanting more. I'm quite surprised with the budget and big names attached to it that it's been cancelled so abruptly. I guess Netflix could buy it, but they seem to cancel stuff quickly and this needs 3 more seasons to complete the story.
Only just finished S2 and seen the news about the cancellation - doh! Ended just like S1 - WTF/huh!? And the CGI on Ragnar in the last scene, oh dear . Still liked it overall though.
