Indeed I thought they were atheist weapons at first but obviously are some bizare religious creation, I assume they kill anyone.
 
Finally finished the series and then watched the video Glanza posted (thanks for that), so it makes a bit more sense now, but only a bit. Whilst it intrigued me enough to wade through, with a mixture of great and terrible acting, I won't be bothering with another series. Sci-fi and religion are hard to get right in TV, as it it hard to portray nuances and thought processes.
 
Hope it sorts itself out for season 2 as it started really well. If it's more of the same crap it ended season 1 with, it'll be cancelled no doubt.
 
showing up on HBO for me now at least even Sweden is a day behind... Not surprisingly...
 
Only watched ep1 but I'm actually revitalised for this . An interesting enough start and some more fleshing out.

Episode 3 and it's absolutely nonsensical.
Strangely compelling.
 
I just want Mother to get her eyes back and go on a spree, but that would mean ripping Marcus open to get the eye he was forced to ingest - which seems to have given him super strength.
 
This is even more bonkers than the end of last season. Literally no clue what is going on. Giant flying herbivore snakes?? I guess it keeps you watching just to see what craziness comes next :p
 
Caught up now............ I have no idea what is going on, Bio-AI-Robot flying snakes that like a cuddle from a Ginger Kill Flying Robot.... All set in some strange land that is often out of focus.

Its bat **** crazy enough to be turning out to be quite good.
