Hi guys,

I've got the Balistix 5300 ( 2 x 1GB) along with a E6600 on a DS3P board. What is the idea clock/ratio? I was running 1:1 at 333 but it didn't like running at CAS3. Tried 400 at CAS4 and that didn't like. :S

Yip 2.2v is what the Ballistix needs.
Hmmm, I thought this Ballistix 666MHz CL/3 was similar to the 10th Anniversary stuff?

CRUCIAL 10th Anniversary - 1.8vDimm - Orthos Stable

I just took delivery of a 2GB Ballistix Kit so will be testing it out this weekend.

I cannot set it to 2.2v in the BIOS. I can only go to + 0.7volts.

Setting it to: 400 at 4-4-4-12 won't allow me to boot. Looking at the gigabye control panel, its seeing it at 1.8v.

Is that 400x9 with the memory on the x2.0 multiplier, or 320x9 with the memory on the x2.5 multiplier?

You'll be needing more CPU and chipset volts for 400x9.

1.5v is pretty much the minimum for getting an e6600 to 3.6ghz. And even then few are able to get stable.

Try 390x9 with the CPU volts at 1.5v, and your chipset voltages on the first setting above default. Also raise your PCI-E Frequency to 105mhz.
