Anyone else strangely obsessed with Rammstein?

I love everthing: the voice, the live acts, the language, the themes of the songs, the comedy lyrics :) . I started off listening to Mutter, and gradually accumalated the albums. I haven't got Rosenrot yet, but if Reise Reise is anything to go by I'll probably love it.

What other similar artists should i look out for?

Yeah, i'd say they are my favourite band, so much power and energy in there songs - i've yet to see them live, anyone know any tour dates?

Don't know about similar artists, but I love Rammstein - their sound is awesome - really powerful. Dont really care that I cant understand whats being said at the time, its the music that counts!

Live performances are cool too.

Really liked Mutter and Reise Reise, but although Rosenrot was good - I didn't think it was AS good as the others - still def worth a listen though :)

Many years ago my mate put the Herzeleid CD in my hands and said you'll either love this or hate it. I loved it and loved Sehnsucht more but with the release of the 3rd album I thought the joke had worn stale although Feur Frei is awesome.
I've got a Die Krupps album that came out before Rammstein and you can hear where Rammstein nicked all their ideas from.

Mm. I too started listening to Rammstein through 'Mutter'. I now have all of their albums, including 'Live Aus Berlin'. Haven't listened to them for ages though, i go through phases^^

One thing i will say, i dislike some of the newer material. Nothing will beat 'Mutter'.

Agreed, everything after was a re-hash.
I thought Mutter was a cracking album, however Resie Resie wasn't so good :( I've not listened to Rosenrot yet. May be biased slightly as Mutter was the first album I heard by them...

Worth to note that while Rammstein is mainly just good fun, Laibach their sound was influenced by - is actually self proclaimed neo-nazi band. As good and interesting as they were musically most of things they did had political and social motto. Rammstein is pure class though.

Which part is wrong - that Rammstein is fun or that Laibach were politically agitated nationalists?

Dude, you have to stop these oneliners. Post count is important, but this is taking it to extreme.
